International Student Information

The Stable Isotope Ecology Course attracts students from all over the world. Our international students enjoy visiting the United States, Utah, and Salt Lake City. To make the most of these great experiences, the earlier you get started on preparing for your visit, the better!
The University of Utah International Center is a great resource for information regarding Visas and other international-university relations. If you have been accepted into the course, either the full course or lab only, you should begin preparing the appropriate paperwork for your Visa, if required, as soon as possible. The processing of Visa paperwork can take several weeks to complete and return to you before you can attend your Visa interview.

DS-2019 Application in PDF

The DS-2019 Application is the most common Visa form required to be completed, signed, returned to the University of Utah, and then processed before a Visa interview can take place. To confirm which forms, if any, are required for your specific situation and country of origin, please contact the University of Utah International Center either via their website, by e-mail, or by telephone at (801) 581-5849.
