"Lecture and Lab" course for students and postdocs:
The tuition for both lecture and laboratory courses will be $1,850 and will cover the costs of course materials, lab supplies, machine time, evening discussions, group dinners, and instructor expenses. This is our break-even cost and by keeping costs down we have been able to maintain this price for several years now.
"Lecture Only" course for students, postdocs, and faculty:
The tuition for the lecture course will be $900 and will cover the costs of course materials, evening discussions, group dinners, and an abbreviated laboratory introduction.
For those accepted into the course:
We require complete payment of tuition (and lodging, if applicable) by May 1, 2008. Please forward the contact information for the administrator at your university who will be arranging payment to Ms. Ming Li. Ming can be reached at:
Ming LiPayment can be made using a university purchase order or by check. We cannot accept credit cards for payment. Tuition & lodging payments should be made out to "Univerity of Utah". Please make a note on the check or enclose a note with the check stating that is is a "Stable Isotope Course Payment". You will be sent a receipt indicating that your payment has been received.

Lodging and Meals
Lodging in the dormitory will cost an additional $375.00. You are welcome to share a room in the dorm or to pursue your own accommodations. We provide breakfast every day, except Sunday, and we have group dinners almost half the time. Once accepted into the course, please see Lodging Information.
Course Credit
The lecture course is 3 semeter units of credit; the laboratory course is also 3 semester units of credit. Once accepted into the course, please see Course Credit.
