In today's lecture, we focus the relationships between dietary carbon and nitrogen isotope ratio inputs and what this means to animal tissue composition. We examine how isotopes are used to examine tissue turnover in response to dietary changes and how distinct dietary preferences can be determined by isotope analyses of different tissue types.
