| Lecture Notes (1 MB) Reading: Lambers pgs. 210-228 | Today we now shift gears from the macroclimate patterns discussed in previous lectures and focus on the microclimate that influences plants. We discuss variations in solar radiation patterns, heat dissipation, air temperature, and humidity profiles. The role of vegetation in modifying climate to creat different microclimate patterns is also discussed. |
