Over the past 20,000 years, atmospheric carbon dioxide levels ranged between 180 and 280 ppm. Beginning with the dawn of the Industrial Revolution, atmospheric carbon dioxide levels began to rise. Today the carbon dioxide levels are about 375 ppm and climbing rapidly. Today's lecture focuses on the ways in which atmospheric carbon dioxide directly and indirectly impacts plant performance. |
